Key Functions of Using a miniBOOSTER with an Integrated Counterbalance Valve
The benefits of a booster with an integrated counterbalance valve includes:
- Increased efficiency (faster speed)
- Extended lifespan. The booster is only activated when needed, which reduces wear and ensures a longer operational life.
A booster with an incorporated counterbalance valve enables fast-forward movement of a cylinder by directing the full inlet flow to pass directly through the booster section until the set pressure is reached, also called Idle movement.
At that point, the counterbalance valve opens, and the booster starts oscillating, facilitating the high-performance, two-speed, two-force solution. The booster's speed is at its highest when there is no load. The incorporated valve eliminates the phase where the booster is most vulnerable, further enhancing its durability.
Applications in Hydraulic Systems
